Mr. Boatman (Director, In-House Counsel) is a graduate of Indiana University where he earned a BA degree in History with high distinction and a JD from the Indiana University School of Law. As an undergraduate, Mr. Boatman earned Phi Beta Kappa status in the classroom while at the same time earning first team Academic All Big Ten honors for his work on the football field where he started on the offensive line.  Following receipt of his law degree, Mr. Boatman worked as an attorney with the firm Bose McKinney & Evans in Indianapolis and Fairfield & Woods P.C. in Denver, where he was involved in contract negotiations and litigation. Following this, Mr. Boatman served as General Counsel for Dutt Sports Services, Inc. (“DSSI”), where he helped negotiate approximately $1 billion in guaranteed NBA player salaries on behalf of numerous DSSI clients.

 

Mr. Boatman is currently General Counsel of ProNet Capital, LLC. Mr. Boatman also maintains a small law practice focused on representing current and former professional athletes and helping to oversee and manage their business affairs.
