World of Hyatt, our global loyalty program, puts understanding into action. It allows us to show our members how much we care for them to be their best. World of Hyatt has four distinct membership levels, offering more benefits, more opportunities to earn rewards and more ways to engage with Hyatt.
We don’t just want to welcome our guests to our world; we want to understand theirs. It’s about celebrating our members by understanding the people, places and stories that make up each of our guests’ lives — creating a thriving community.
Program Basics
World of Hyatt members are eligible to earn points for up to three guest rooms on an Eligible Rate. For every eligible US dollar spent at Hyatt hotels and resorts, participating M life Rewards destinations and Hyatt Residence Club resorts, members receive 5 BasePoints.
World of Hyatt offers four membership tiers
Through research, we found that customers are less likely to participate in loyalty programs that feel unachievable or where they can't “win”. Therefore, we have created a program with four membership tiers.

Elite Tier Qualifications
Elite tier qualifications will be based on Tier-Qualifying Nights or Base Point* activity within a calendar year (January – December).
Discoverist: 10 Tier-Qualifying Nights or 25,000 Base Points
Explorist: 30 Tier-Qualifying Nights or 50,000 Base Points
Globalist: 60 Tier-Qualifying Nights or 100,000 Base Points

BASE POINTS vs BONUS POINTS
Base Points
“Base Points,” will be considered when calculating a Member’s progress towards elite status in the program. A Member may earn Base Points for payment of Eligible Rates, Eligible Incidental Charges and Eligible Non-Stay Charges.
Bonus Points
“Bonus Points” are not included when calculating a Member’s progress toward elite status in the Program, but bonus points can be redeemed for a variety of awards. Bonus points include
(without limitation) percentage bonuses awarded to Members with elite status, points provided to a Member by Hyatt customer service, points that are purchased or received by transfer or
gift, and points provided to Hyatt Residence Club owners.
Eligible Spend
Registered guests can earn World of Hyatt points on eligible incidental spend billed to their room. As a general rule, any service provided by or managed by Hyatt will be eligible for points, while any service provided by an outside vendor will not be eligible:

• Food and non-alcoholic beverages
• Laundry and dry cleaning
• Telephone charges
INELIGIBLE EXAMPLES:
• In-room movies
• All taxes/fees
• Banquet, meeting and functionroom
charges
Member Benefits - Entry-Level
• Earn 5 Base Points for every eligible U.S. dollar spent on stays, dining, spa services & more
• Redeem points for free nights in standard rooms with no blackout dates at Hyatt hotels and resorts (not valid with packages)
• Use points for room upgrades, dining, spa services and more
• Points + Cash for more rewarding opportunities
• Sapphire tier status with M life Rewards, the loyalty program of MGM Resorts International
• Share points or free night awards with any World of Hyatt member
• Resort/Facility fees waived on Free Night Awards
• Member discount at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts (when available)
Discoverist Benefits - 10 Tier-Qualifying Tier Nights or 25,000 BasePoints
In addition to all Membership benefits, Discoverist members also receive the following benefits:
• 10% Bonus Points when choosing points
• Exclusive reservation line
• Pearl tier status with M life Rewards, the loyalty program of MGM Resorts International
To receive the following in-hotel benefits a Discoverist member must pay an Eligible Rate or redeem Free Night Award.
• Preferred room within the room type booked
• Dedicated check-in area
• Complimentary premium Internet (where available)
• 2:00 PM late checkout upon request
• A bottle of water daily
Explorist Benefits - 30 Tier-Qualifying Tier Nights or 50,000 BasePoints
In addition to all Membership benefits, Explorist members also receive the following benefits.
• 20% Bonus Points when choosing points
• Exclusive reservation line
• Gold status with M life Rewards, the loyalty program of MGM Resorts International
+ 72-Hour Guaranteed room availability (not valid at resort or casino hotels and blackout dates apply)
+ 4 Club lounge access awards (valid on Eligible Rates or when redeeming points for free night awards)
To receive the following in-hotel benefits an Explorist member must pay Eligible Rate or redeem an award night.
• Dedicated check-in area
• Complimentary premium Internet
• 2:00 PM late checkout upon request
• A bottle of water daily
+ Upgrade to best room, excluding Club lounge access and suites
Globalist Benefits - 60 Tier-Qualifying Tier Nights or 100,000 BasePoints
In addition to all Membership benefits, Globalist members also receive the following benefits.

• 48-Hour Guaranteed room availability (not valid at resort or casino hotels and blackout dates apply)

+ Two complimentary one-time-use United ClubSM passes annually
To receive the following in-hotel benefits a Globalist member must pay Eligible Rate or redeem an award night.

• 4:00 PM late checkout upon request
• A bottle of water daily
+ Complimentary upgrade to best room, up to standardsuites
+ Club lounge access at hotels with Club or complimentary full breakfast daily for each registered guest (up to2 adults and 2 children) at hotels without Club
+ Priority access to available rooms when checking in early
+ Resort/Facility Fees waived on free night awards and Eligible Rates (hotels compensated 50% of resort/facility fee on nights paying an Eligible Rate)
+ Complimentary parking on free night awards, at participating hotels with parking that may be charged to the guest’s room (100% compensation of parking fee)
